Why Food Shouldn't Become Biofuel

50% of the world's cropland produces food for direct human consumption. In an uncertain climate that strains the ability to grow food, the global citizenry must re-think food allocation and where crops are best suited or can be cultivated.

Why use corn and soybean crops for biofuel when these plants are readily available and easy "to grow"? (a.k.a. that are weeds to me impacting my Red raspberry patch)
